Steps to Fix Incorrectly Scheduled Payroll Dates in QuickBooks

How to Edit Memo on Paychecks those are Already Sent:
  1. From the QuickBooks Desktop dashboard, click Edit/Void Paychecks under the Employees
  2. Look for the Paychecks with incorrect pay period dates and double click them to open.
  3. Now manually enter the correct pay period dates in the memo filed.
  4. Click Save and Close.
  5. Now click Yes to save changes.
  6. Follow the same process for other paychecks with errors.
How to Edit Pay Period Dates on Paychecks those are not Sent:
  1. Open QuickBooks and click Employees
  2. Click Edit/Void Paychecks.
  3. Double click the paychecks with errors to open and click Paycheck Details.
  4. From the Pay Period section at the top right change the dates.
  5. Click OK and Save and Close.
  6. Click Yes to save changes.
  7. Follow the same steps for other checks and after editing all the checks, send payroll data to Intuit®.

  1. Click Employees tab from QuickBooks Desktop dashboard.
  2. Click Edit/Void Paychecks.
  3. Double click the paychecks with incorrect dates to open.
  4. Click Paycheck Details from the bottom right corner under Paycheck Summary
  5. From the Pay Period section change the dates.
  6. Click OK and Save and Close.
  7. Click Yes to save changes.
  8. Follow the same steps for other paychecks you want to edit.
