What is a W2 Form?

W2 is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) form that is used to present the wages, salary, or compensation that are paid to the employees and their relatable taxes. Also known as the official Wage and Tax Statement, the W2 Forms are filled by employers and submitted to the government and the corresponding employees in order to file taxes either through the digital gateway or via an IRS waiver by January 31 of each year. This does not include self-employed workers.
