  3. Now under the File tab click Utilities and then select Stop Hosting Multi-User Access.

  5. Restart the application once.

Rename Network Device (.ND) file:

  1. Under QuickBooks directory on your computer search for network device file with .ND extension, which is having the same name as your company file.
  2. Rename the file and add (old) at the end of its name.
  3. Now Restart QuickBooks application.

Reinstall the QuickBooks application:

  1. Click the Start button on your Windows computer.
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. Click Uninstall a Program.
  4. Click QuickBooks application and uninstall the app.
  5. Now Download QuickBooks Clean Install Tool and run it.
  6. Click I Accept and continue.
  7. Select the QuickBooks version that you want to install and click Continue.
  8. Click OK and install QuickBooks.
